I’ve spent 28+ years working across UK broadcast television, live entertainment, music and documentary production — as a Lighting Cameraman, Camera Operator, Director of Photography and Producer.
For me, the job is always the same: make the strongest work possible within the realities of the production.
That means being calm under pressure, technically solid, easy to work with and flexible enough to find a solution when the plan changes — because it usually does.
Over the years I’ve worked across major broadcast shows, live events, EPKs, interviews, music documentaries and concert films, including productions at the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley and other large-scale venues.
I’ve produced and DP’d a number of concert films and music documentaries, and continue to work across broadcast, music and specialist production projects.
Alongside my freelance broadcast and music work, I run MP Video Production, where I bring the same production discipline into business video, strategy and training.
I also own a range of professional camera and lighting equipment and can build crews around the scale of the job through a trusted network of broadcast professionals I’ve worked with over many years.
Good people. Good pictures. Calm sets.
And tea. Always tea.
